Oh, the crystal chandeliers light up ...

Deeply in love with this low humidity weather. Could enjoy it all summer long. Sat on my porch for a few minutes to take these pictures.

My pain is still too high and boring to talk about but my nurses tell me that while my wounds are still wide open there is an attempt being made by my body to start forming crystallization. And so far I have avoided infection. Go me!

Team shirts

Well my day started out great with a pop in visit from my niece Deborah who brought me some bbq chicken dinners and yummy homemade granola! No pictures, because I was not awake yet even though I was ambulatory and apparently talking :-)

Then these three ladies dropped in to make my day even further. Lookit their T Shirts!

They were off to Toronto for more fun.

I thought I would see how it went to putter around my yard with my rollator and camera. Turns out sitting on my rollator is an emphatic NO even with my special V shaped pillow. It's not really how soft things are to sit on, it's more what angle what hits what, hits you know what, so I was not out long.

Harry decided enough was enough and it was high time to go for a long walk. He was very very clear on this and sat there till long after dark waiting for me to cooperate. Sorry buddy. Currently trying to interest him in a game of laser tag and am being soundly ignored. It's a hard knock life for cats.

Trick or Treat

Today my great nephew Cooper and his Grandpa came over after school.

I had lots of treats ready to go but I knew Cooper would be looking for a very special one this time.

You see he'd heard about Emily starting out to make these:

and me taking over with this as the final result:

Cooper loves to make jokes about pee and poop as is the way of his 4 year old people so he was ready to try some fake cat poop and maybe even play a trick on his Daddy when he got home.

But first he had to try it for himself.

He declared that it tasted very good!

Harry was so happy to have Cooper visit!

Cooper showed me lots of cool games on the tablet

And he knows when to put on a selfie face!

Grandpa took some nice pictures of us.

Cooper was very gentle.

We watched some pictures and video from Grandpa's trip to Peru

and had some of our regular fun.

Cooper did some big jumps from colour to colour!

Then it was time to go home and get ready for soccer and see if Daddy likes cat pooh! Haven't heard the answer to that yet :-)

Lizzy and Logan are coming to visit from Scotland in a month maybe we'll keep some in the freezer for them!

Here they are gearing up for summer fun!
