Tree peony

Today my sister Anne brought me some flowers including this giant tree peony.

As well as a yellow rose which will always make us think of the flowers at Mary Lynn's funeral.

The big peony moved out of the frying pan and into the birdbath.

And was met by some birds.

Who held a meeting

Which made me think to look it up

And sure enough peonys are toxic to birds

So after a few more pictures the birdbath was returned to its natural state.

And the focus became yellow.

Meet Milo

Today my niece Annette came over to help and she brought Milo for his first visit here. Harry doesn't mind a dog especially when they are only about a third as big as he is.

Feigning disinterest

Milo is a very sweet little guy.

Still here eh?

I think you could call what they did "play"

Maybe

"Helping" with laundry

Meanwhile, while backs were turned, Harrison has acquired the toy. Mwahaha!
