I find it pretty amazing that a squirrel can fit through a chain link fence but clearly they can.
The dark-eyed juncos are active these days.
As are the bushy-tailed bird robbers.
Starting to recognize this one from the unusual markings on its paw.

These two followed me as I headed home.
Since I had just provided a snack I didn't feel like getting the food out again
So we had a bit of a stare down going on.
SO sad and hungry.
I've got all day.
The stand off was broken when I ignored them to take up with some woodpeckers.
For Remembrance Day I worked on making this poppy red.
