Party Animals

Yesterday we had an impromptu party at Cooper's house. Graycee was modelling the latest in winter fashion.

Cooper is a super fast runner these days.

Graycee not so much. She has a problem with her spine that's caused her to lose the function in a hind leg. The good news is that she's starting to use it again! She could use our good thoughts and prayers.

I wish I like sangria but I just can't like wine. So pretty though.

Bacon butter tarts!!!!!!

And Karen's fabulous appetizer!

Ordering Thai food.

Ozzy!!

Cards against Mennonites. Long story. Not really against anyone. A take off of Cards Against Humanity - pretty much just the Apples to Apples game but created by a Mennonite with a great sense of humour.

We were messaging with Brent and Joannie in Calgary all night and discovered that messenger is trying to be Snap chat.

I just missed...

Cooper making a selection with his nose.

The oldest person won the game of course.

Yum

Happy birthday on the 9th Dana!!

Deb's butter tarts and paleo brownies were delicious! Sadly I totally missed trying Annette's dessert.

Downstairs for games and to watch the hockey game with Brent and Joannie

Karen and Annette got some giggles in before they had to go to work. I totally missed getting a picture of Annette so two for two!

I will always brake for Ozzy's eyes!

Jen's getting tired but Deb's still going!

This is a fun game called Codenames. The person who is the spymaster on your team tries to get you to guess the cards belonging to your team with a single word clue. He can try for one word or more at a time so if he wants to win 5 cards at once he needs to think of one word that will get your team to connect all 5 words to his one.

So tomato for 2 could get you paste and Ketchup but if your team guesses different answers they may choose a word that belongs to the other team. Only the two spymasters know from a changing grid  which cards belong to the red or blue countries. Some words are neutral and one is instant death!

Upstairs for a game of Spot It with beautiful new cards.

Graycee had to brave the cold.

And came in telling us this!

Thanks for hosting Dana! I had so much fun!

The good times just kept rolling today when Augie came to visit! He's not one to sit still so I have a lot of fun pictures like this

He's so cute!

And he's generous too. He brought Harry a bigger bed that he can stretch out on!

It's actually meant for babies.

The bed was treated with great suspicion for a while. You know, beware bulldogs bearing gifts and all that. Not really, he just needs to decide if it's a bed or not.

Many hours later we kind of had contact.

And even if Harry never takes to it (which he will) this is his main job anyway.
