Introducing Notches

I have officially become that old man who sits on the park bench and recognizes and names individual pigeons. Except with squirrels. This is Notches. Turns out she's been posing for me for a while. This is her today...

and this is her on various days in September. I know because of the little notch on her right ear. Plus also her attitude. 

More Notches further down the blog. 

Tricky to get leaves falling. 

They haven't cut down any trees this week. 

It was new to see chipmunks running the fence. 

I thought this was still a chipmunk but it turned out to be a red squirrel. Very rare around here.
