Over walk

Today I walked probably twice maybe three times as much as I should have. I was trying to help a friend. Lesson learned. I could have asked a better walking person to help. Assuming that tomorrow I'll need to rest up for an evening of swimming. The beauty of swimming is that I can do a great work out without involving my knee if I need to. I have fine tuned that over the years.

Looking forward to finding out that my knee bounces back no problem.

I had better luck with hunting the Chippie with the big camera. Flowers too.

Where's Chippy?

What Harrison does not want me to tell you is that…

in every one of the above pictures there was a chipmunk running back and forth behind him.

I am just about as bright as Harrison because I thought an iPod could take a picture of a running chipmunk.

Nevertheless I did want you to see how cute it is that Harrison goes into stealth mode when I make the chippy chippy chippy sound. We are quite a team.

Finally the chipmunk took mercy on us and ran around in front of him.

It lives to tease.

Can you still find the bird?

No bird here that I know of.

Yes please Karen:

I wrote an article today that actually kinda helped my nephew Brent who is planning a wedding with his lovely fiancé Joannie. Who knew my blathering would actually take root?

It was a tough article to write because I had already written on the topic and so it was a challenge to find new words. Took me over a week but I did it!

Last night I dreamed that I was getting married, can't imagine why!

Physiotherapist lady was here again today. She comes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Bit of a challenge to find new things to talk about. But we manage. I asked for stretches for my back as it feels a bit iffy. It always gets a bit wonky when my gait changes. And my gait has certainly changed!

I went back to the medium-sized roll for my leg stretch. The large one with a can of tomato juice in the middle freaked out my thigh muscles.

Good night

Today

Lovely day. I attended my newest great niece's baptism. Her parents want to minimize her appearance on the WWW so I'll be limiting pictures to the family website. But we are so grateful that my niece Erin is home from the hospital with her new baby and kids.

I had a cool ride!

Cooper was wearing shoes for the first time. I can't believe he left them on all day!

He was sporting a styling big boy shirt too!

Cooper was pretty sure Deborah should share her earrings with him

Cooper is almost 6 months old so he gets to try food soon. Man he is going to love that!

Deborah and TJ call each other this morning and wore matching outfits! Also TJ got a little bit of sun yesterday But he was not really THIS pink

Back down from 20 minutes cause I used a bigger roll to put my ankle on. Ouch!

I wonder

Today I bought a new microwave cause last night my old one went out in flames. Unless there was metal in the microwave popcorn that I was trying to pop, its lifespan was over.

I also bought this because I'm hoping to get to go swimming with Cooper soon!

Yay!

Tomorrow is my newest great niece's baptism. Little Bethany Melinda who was born the day of my mom's funeral.

I keep waiting to be hit by mom's loss and maybe I will be, my life has been crazy for the past few weeks. But what I still feel the most is relief that she is no longer in the situation that she was. It amazes me that if I believe she is in heaven, then she no longer has Alzheimer's. And I wonder if she would be happy or angry with how I have handled everything since she had Alzheimer's. I hope that in all my movies I treated her with as much dignity as possible. I hope that I did not treat her in a childish way but rather simply showed how child-like she became and that I met her at the exact place where she lived.

Harrison says that spring is here...

but it's also still time to be intense.

Well I haven't done the leg stretch for a few days but I must be doing other things right because I went from 11 minutes to here!

Good night
